Tom Darby, is a native of Hermitage, Pa where he grew up and attended the Bethel CMA church and at the age of 13 he accepted his Lord Jesus Christ as savior. Bethel CMA later merged with the Hickory Alliance Church and they became the present day Neshannock Alliance Church. Tom has served the church as a Sunday school teacher, Trustee, President of the Deacons, Elder and as a member of the Worship Team.
In his personal life he is married to his high school sweetheart Barb and they’ve raised 4 children Rachel, Adam, Mark and Stephen. He has worked in the civil engineering field and has been Superintendent of the Hermitage Water Pollution Control Dept since 1988 as well as Manager of the Hermitage Municipal Authority. He enjoys hunting, fishing and especially photographing Gods creation, showing the beauty of the planet he gave us. He likes good black coffee, in case you want to buy him one.
I love people and being able to see them worship as part of the church worship teams is very rewarding. I love that our church has always emphasized missions since our founder A. B. Simpson first began The Christian Missionary Alliance back in the 1880s. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
For me having my sons and daughter raising their families in Christian homes gives me a tremendous sense of peace. Life has not always been easy but God has always been good!
